In January of 05, my wonderful, amazing, lovely, beatiful wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. So far, she's fine and her prognosis is good and her outlook is exceptional.
When someone you love is affected by this terrible disease, you tend to educate yourself about it. One of the facts I've learned since my wife was diagnosed is that one out of every eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer.
No, this woman isn't my wife. I have no idea who she is. She's just a breast cancer survivor. The other seven women are less important.
Ladies, have you had your mamogram lately? Guys, how about your wives? Mothers? Daughters? Sisters?
This picture is the first of my Breast Cancer Awareness series.

::claps:: Beautiful job. It's simple, yet explains so much. I never been able to do simple things like that. Glad to hear she is ok, and it's nice of you to be trying to reach others with your artwork.

Very great. I love art that is inspired by emotion and concepts. You have clearly done that here. Very staggering statistic, I'm glad to hear your wife is Ok. Great job on this, this also does good to get a serious subject out to an audience.

but I don't think that little ribbon is neccessary...
maybe you can re-draw this.. the shadowing needs more working on
or maybe someone can do a vector for you, that would be perfect!
